Humectants are able to attract moisture from their environment and act as hydrators — PGA can hold over 5000x its weight in water.
This extra moisture is concentrated on the surface of the skin to give a plump, dewy appearance.

Polyglutamic acid pairs well with HA. If applying in combination with vitamin C, wait ten minutes prior to application.
